Barry Kratchman, President
Barry Kratchman is the third-generation leader of Delaware Valley Fish Company, which was established in center city Philadelphia by his grandfather, David and father, Sheldon, back in 1972. He took over the helm of the company in 2000 after its move to Norristown and expanded the company’s operations in New Brunswick, Canada with the acquisition of South Shore Trading Co. Ltd. that same year.
In addition to his leadership of Delaware Valley Fish Company, Mr. Kratchman is also the President of Classic Cake based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Under his direction, the company has grown from a local retailer into a wholesale and private label manufacturer of fine cakes and pastries distributed throughout the United States and internationally.
Mr. Kratchman received his Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management at Penn State University in 1985. During his professional journey, he also managed a variety of national chain restaurants, including the Manhattan flagship of J.B. Winberie (Stouffers), in the late 1980s.

Mitchell Feigenbaum, Vice President
Mitchell Feigenbaum is an entrepreneur with principal roles in various food-related companies, including Delaware Valley Fish Company of Norristown, Pennsylvania and its Canadian affiliate, South Shore Trading Co. Ltd. based in New Brunswick, Canada. Alongside his partner Barry Kratchman, he is active in the strategic development and management of both companies. Together, they have grown these companies into a major enterprise conducting trade on four continents. He is also a Principal with Classic Cake in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Since 2005, Mr. Feigenbaum has been a leading voice in numerous international forums dedicated to the management of the eel fishery. He is also a prominent industry leader on eel management issues. In 2012, he led a group of fishermen to Italy to participate in the annual meeting of the European Sustainable Eel Group.
Prior to joining Delaware Valley Fish Company in 2000, Mr. Feigenbaum practiced law for ten years at a large law firm in Philadelphia, PA. He received his undergraduate degree at Penn State University in 1985 and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 1990.
